“You are not alone. Mending is within our grasp, no matter how hard it feels.”
Therapy
You are here because you may be navigating depression and/or anxiety, suffering from grief and loss, striving to avoid burnout at work or school, concerned about the climate crisis, exploring your identity, or are wanting to establish new boundaries/routines. My role is to support your journey so you can live with more authenticity as your full self—in both heart and mind. Perhaps you have tried counseling before or perhaps this is your first time seeking out a counselor.
You deserve a mindful and compassionate therapist who prioritizes your goals and cultivates an environment that is welcoming—with plenty of space for curiosity, complex feelings, and opportunities to try out new or different ways of thinking. Through a gentle, trauma-informed approach, my goal is for you to find greater alignment and engagement with your values.
Therapy is not an easy or simple process for anyone - yet it can be one of the most meaningful gifts we can offer to ourselves. I am glad you are here.
Types of clients
I work with adult clients (18+) from all backgrounds. I specialize in early-career education and non-profit professionals, people who are creative and values-driven. But I’m open to and happy to work with anyone who needs support navigating the messiness of life.
Approaches
I work within a model that centers Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (talk therapy) and that draws on the Internal Family Systems Model, humanistic therapy, person-centered therapy, and narrative therapy—in whatever way best suits the client.
I am gender affirming and have experience working with members of the LGBTQIA community.
I am also a fandom-friendly, therapeutic, tabletop role-playing game master.
